Padma's own smile grew. "If it works, then I'm glad. I don't want you to have to worry about them, on top of the rest of it all," she told him sincerely.
She looked down at their hands, and her cheeks went pink, but the smile she gave him was obviously pleased, and she curled her fingers back in his, taking his hand gratefully. "Oh," she answered, pinking a little more. "Thank you. You look. . . well you always look nice." Justin was, after all, VERY attractive. Padma was surprised he didn't have a girlfriend, really. And that he seemed to like her. Not that she thought of herself as unattractive - but she knew there were prettier girls, and girls much better at flirting and knowing what boys liked. Like Parvati, for one.
