It was at that point that Megan realized that Viktor Krum...liked to ramble. She wondered if it were a foreign thing or if he were just naturally talkative. Either way she felt a bit bad that she made him apologize so profusely. Though....he really wasn't in a place to talk to her the way she had. Having spent majority of her life playing sports and injuring herself she'd been told a number of times to 'cool it.' But why should she 'cool it' if she had so much to keep up with? Right? Her parents had slowly but surely learned that their chiding would float in one ear and our the other.
It was just...strange hearing the lecture from someone she barely knew - celebrity or not.
Course, when he turned the conversation to his problems...Megan felt an increasingly growing pity for him. Again. He didn't have family here. He'd been alone for the holidays. And he was potentially facing losing his job. Merlin, now she felt like an ogre.
"I'm sorry to hear that," she offered placing the things he'd brought her that were in her lap to the side. She needed to seem...as though she were doing something. "And I'm sorry I got snarky... I do appreciate you being worried about me. It's very nice of you," she told him finally looking to Viktor. She offered a sigh and a more pointed look. "Can I ask what you're doing now, then? If you're temporarily off the team."
