Greg accepted the drink and took a careful sip, slightly puzzled that Theo hadn't taken one. He stayed where he was, glancing about the room and then back at Theo.
His friend looked terrible by his estimation. He seemed like he had a stick up his spine; he hadn't relaxed once since Greg had arrived. Greg took another sip, and then moved to set the drink on the table.
Greg looked at the painting with the burn mark, and wanted to ask about it but decided against it for the moment.
"Well, I say let's go wandering a bit. Will you show me the house? Maybe your room? I'd love to go outside a bit, take a walk maybe?" Anywhere where I can get you really and truly alone Greg though to himself. He wondered if he was being blatantly obvious. And he made the decision to help his friend out, and rose, reinforcing the idea of wandering.
