Once she explained the reasons behind her reaction, Orsino supposed he could understand. He'd never been in that exact sort of situation, but he certainly knew what it was like to become annoyed and overwhelmed by the aggressive attentions of others, for any reason. He nodded when she reached to his hand.
Eager to leave that bit of misunderstanding behind, Orsino looked down at his coffee as though to evaluate the sweetness. With the hand that wasn't currently around the chipped mug, he grabbed the sugar holder again and held it up to eye level. He seemed to inspect it.
"Ahh, no. Not as sweet as I have unfortunately made it," he explained, scrunching his nose in distaste. "It's not horrible, but definitely not what I'm used to.
Taking another sip and placing the sugar back down, he shrugged. "Good coffee, though."
