While Tonks wasn't exactly nervous as she ascended the stairs to the Headmaster's - no, Headmistress's office, there was a sense of foreboding and anticipation she couldn't shake. She couldn't imagine a Hogwarts without Albus Dumbledore at the helm, try as she might, even though she knew Minerva would be just as capable in the position.
So when she entered the office and saw her sitting behind the desk, it gave her pause, and she tried to take a moment to note this. It was where Minerva belonged now, and she might as well get used to it.
"Wotcher, Minerva," said Tonks, as informal as ever. It hadn't taken her long after joining the Order to start calling her former professors by their first names, whether it annoyed them or not. She took a seat, already feeling like she was about to be scolded for some prank she'd pulled or some other bit of mischief she'd caused. "It's good to see you too - nice office," she added cheekily.
