Draco was startled that anyone spoke to him, but it faded in a heartbeat when he looked up to see her. It was another moment before his characteristic smirk spread out, and he shrugged one thin shoulder. "I have already sized them up, and found them lacking, I don't see what possible advantage could be gained from watching them attempt to maneuver their brooms about the Pitch together this afternoon. Besides, that's Vaisey's job now," And he was glad to be rid of it, since it meant he felt no obligation at all to go and watch. He was sure he'd get the highlights from someone or other, if anything at all interesting happened. He wasn't expecting it to.
"But you didn't go along with your friends? That's surprising..." He looked to what she carried, and the smirk spread out a little more. "A day in front of the fire reading about the travels of the Dread Wizard something or other and his adventures with many witches of shivering bosoms and the like, instead?"
