Julien had actually come out to see his... boyfriend... that was weird... play in Quidditch today, and he wondered if he hadn't jinxed the whole thing; it was a pretty large coincidence that the day he came out to watch them play that Hufflepuff lost so badly. On the other hand, his house had won, so... maybe he wasn't a jinx after all...
Whatever had happened, he knew that Alfie must be smarting from the loss so he'd kept his distance until he spied the other boy leaving the broom cupboard and stepped away from the wall he'd been leaning against, coming up to meet him.
"Hey." he said softly when he came up in front of him. He wasn't sure what to do, lean in for a kiss (assuming no one was watching) or hold Alfie's hand, or what.
