She smiled brightly, clearly proud that she managed to get everything finished in one day. She knew as soon as she returned home to London she wouldn't have an ounce of time on her own. At Nikolas' offer, she looked at him for a moment in mild surprise.
"Sure," she told him, handing him one of the shopping bags. "Thank you."
She wasn't surprised that he had offered. Nikolas had always seemed like a gentleman. She just hadn't expected it.
