In response, Nikolas perked up and turned in the direction of Lucy's voice, pushing off from the window. He was feeling much better than he had the last time he and Lucy had seen each other at length, any aches and bruises virtually gone. Walking towards her, he closed the remaining distance between them before greeting her.
"Hey yourself," Nikolas said, looking amused and noted the plethora of bags in Lucy's hands. She, like him, had clearly been here for a while. "Quite bundled up today, aren't we?"
