Hermione was considering the same thing herself as she sat at the kitchen in The Burrow and tried unsuccessfully to tell Molly Weasley that she wasn't hungry enough for a second plate. She picked at the second plate, eating the egg at least and a bit of the ham, and decided that it was probably easiest just to go by Floo. She didn't have a very clear picture of where she was going, and the last thing they needed was for her to splinch when they couldn't trust the Ministry to want to put her back together again. Not that she would splinch, but still.
After she helped clear breakfast away, she gathered the things she'd need - notebook and pens, some fruit since she planned to be reading all day, and shoved all of it into her large purse before she reached for the floo powder. As she stumbled out of the floo on the other end five minutes before she was meant to be there, Hermione really hoped she'd gotten the right grate.
