Nikolas was already surprised that Lucy had heard of his mother's family. Though they were a commonly known name in Sweden, outside of that area most people didn't know very much of it, unless they were particularly up on cryptozoology or magical creatures. But then he remembered that he was talking to Lucy Elkins, and that she was probably one of the best students in his year when it came to Care of Magical Creatures.

Still, when she asked him is she could tell him something silly, he balked. Blinking in slight confusion, he nodded. "Guess so."
