She caught sight of him as he grinned. Now, that was something she didn't see him do very often. Not like Nikolas wasn't ever happy, but grinning - well, it seemed a rare thing for him to do. She pulled her legs up, crossing them in the Indian position as she leaned forward, her chin propped on the palm of her hand.
"Merlin, I admit, I am impressed," she told him barely able to suppress the envy she was sure was emitting from her face. "What's your mother's maiden name? I feel like I've heard of something along the lines of your mother's business now that I think about it."
She knew she had, truth be told. She had made a list of places she had wanted to visit once she completed her time at Hogwarts. Every known place of magical creatures that was open for exploring, and some that were not. This was one of the reasons she just couldn't wait to get out of Hogwarts.
