Lucy's eyes lingered on the rather grotesque image for a moment. Truth be told, it was all rather frightening. There was so much that could possibly go wrong. Sometimes she wondered what possessed her to go through with all of this. She looked at him, a wry sort of grin tugging at her lips. He looked absolutely bewildered by the whole idea.
"It does," she told him, nodding her head. "So many people often try without really being ready. And often, this is what could happen. Your mind gets trapped between your animal form and your human form."
She closed the book before biting down on her bottom lip.
"I'm a little weary, I'll be honest. It's like, how do you ever know you're ready to do it?"
