Viktor didn't speak at first, but could only nod slowly.
"I have a confession to make to you, Professor...I mean Headmistress. Please forgive me. It is hard to remember to call you by your correct title. I still remember you as the professor from my day," and he gave her a small smile but changed his expression as he became serious again, "I want to help. Your students, or the fighting, I must help in some way. I had hoped to offer you free Quidditch lessons, for your students, but it seems like such a trivial thing of which to be concerned. I wanted to be of some assistance, but perhaps I need to look along other venues."
He paused, and looked at her face, "It was suggested that I find Remus Lupin and offer him my help. Would you agree? Is that a person to start with?" and he waited, worried she would misinterpret his words.
