Viktor nodded, and leaned back as the pints appeared before them. He waited until Tom left before he spoke again, "Your poor mother, yes it must be terrible. I don't know what I'd do if it was one of my younger brothers that had up and gone missing. I think I'd go mad trying to find him," Viktor said, his tone grave, "Your father is there. I have seen him, I am sure of it. He is safe isn't he?"
Viktor paused and sipped at the mug, thinking. He wasn't sure Arthur Weasley was too safe there. He stuck out like a sore thumb, even if he was a good solid wizard. People knew he was a Muggle supporter, and Viktor felt an odd seed of worry in his stomach for the older man. What kind of mad house was he working in, where he knew that certain people might be targeted, just for their beliefs?
Viktor looked up at Fred, "I just got a journal, and I'm going to write to Hermione to offer her any help she may need. Would you like me to tell you if I get her? It might help your mother..?" he offered, feeling for the woman as he thought about his own mother.
