Re: Mandy, Viktor and Open
"No?" Mandy asked, confused. "But I thought you wanted to work in the Games department?" she asked, clearly not understanding the problem. Surely a Quidditch player would love to work in the games department, well when not on the pitch.
Mandy nodded at Viktor's question.. "I absolutely love it; unfortunately nowhere near as good as you, but aye. I'd love to play for England" she clarified with a smile. As much as she'd enjoyed Ireland playing, she was English to the core and proud of it; even if she, like most of her countrymen, didn't often admit it. "Ah well maybe one day when you're well, we'll battle each other on the pitch," Mandy said, her tone clearly teasing him as well.
"You haven't?" Mandy asked, looking actually fairly stunned at the revelation. She shook her head and made a soft sound of disapproval. "It's such a shame. We're really brilliant actually, wicked out on the pitch too!" She said, finding herself laughing softly at her completely brazen attitude. It was rather out of character, for her but then she was incredibly nervous. "But truly, it is a shame you haven't met many of us. Yes, our colours are blue and bronze, and I suppose our aspects are intelligence, whit learning; but we're really not as boring as it sounds." she said with a grin.
