Viktor didn't color, but he did look embarrassed and he waved a hand, as if to brush off the compliments a bit, "It was nothing. I was doing my job, and at my prime," he said, letting out a small sigh, "My recent injuries have left me to my own devices and I thought to come to England, to work in the Games department and improve or support the sport."
Viktor paused, "Many plans change," and he thought it would be acceptable to asked her now.
"And you? I do not wish to be rude to inquire your name. May I further ask what house you are a member of?"
He found himself liking this girl. She was not an avid fan, which was refreshing. She was polite and well spoken. And again, he wondered if she knew Hermione. He also had to wonder if this was where one found decent women, at Hogwarts, who seemed to have more too themselves than the mad fans he was usually hounded by. Not that those types of women were necessarily bad; he just longed to find someone whom he could spend quiet moments with, that could potentially turn into more, much like his parents.
