Ellie shook her head in the negative and squeezed Audrey back again, turning her head to look at her friend. “You don’t have to apologize for that. I’d probably do the same thing if it were me.” She’d probably be a lot worse if it were her, honestly. “I just wish that I knew of someway to help you. It’d be nice if it could just, you know, straighten itself out. But I’m thinking that things like this just don’t go away on their own.”
