"Did you say something?" Hermione asked, quietly but with the air of someone who'd be very very easy to annoy as she came up behind him, then bypassed him and sat on a log on the other side of the fire, picking up a stick and poking at it to get the last bit of warmth from it before it died out. They were being cautious about how much magic they used here, since it was safe to assume they were being looked for, and while they'd hazarded some warming charms they were few and far between and it was really sodding close to freezing once the sun was down.
She'd left Harry in the tent. He had the locket and wasn't letting her take it from him now, and it was annoying and worrying and she didn't want to be around him at the present, anyway. Something about the first thing he'd seen when they'd gotten their journals being Ginny asking publicly about her girlfriend had made him monstrous to be around for days - and it wasn't as if they could put much distance between themselves, so letting him have his peace was easiest for everyone.
"Anything new?" She'd read through to everything up to a few hours ago, but looking over the newest articles Ginny had pasted in... she'd felt like throwing her journal into the lake, really, and so she'd stopped for a bit.
