Nikolas looked at Daphne as though she'd just said something absurd. He supposed it was a logical enough question to ask, after all not everyone celebrated the holiday, but he'd sort of taken it for granted nonetheless. "'Course."
Still debating the soup, he picked up a spoon and made as though to try some, but changed his mind at the last moment and put the spoon back down. He looked at a loss of what to do, having finished his sandwich in almost record time. He had been hungry when he'd gotten here, enough to rush through the first portion of his meal. Instead, he just held the butterbeer between his gloved hands - if it were a warm beverage, this would have seemed a sensible way to warm one's hands. But, since it wasn't, it just made Nikolas look fidgety.
"Why do you ask? Is this another tradition question?"
