In all actuality, for once Nikolas could say with relatively certainty that he knew the origins of their meal - Harold's mother happened to be a very good cook, and enjoyed spoiling her son (and, if need be, his friends). Still, some part of Nikolas liked teasing Daphne and letting things seems dubious. She didn't seem to have any real problems with this, as she was continuing to eat.
The Greengrasses would go to different countries just to shop, wouldn't they? Nikolas just shook his head mildly, not indicating whether it was because he thought international shopping trips a bit ridiculous, or in response to her comments on the weather.
"Yeah. It's not too bad in summer, really." At least he didn't think so, though he'd been going for as long as he could remember, so he had to admit he was used to it either way. "When we're there it'll be much different, though...pretty consistently freezing out, actually. Although, we won't be too far north so it could be a lot worse. Might not be as much daylight as we're used to here, either."
