As Nikolas held up the bag she could see the embarrassment on his face, which made her smirk slightly. It was humbling to see he could admit mistakes, this was a mistake right? However that smirk faded as he mentioned eating outdoors. Was he serious, glancing at the bag of food once more, and then up at him, Daphne remained quiet. Outside? Maybe if it was June, and sunny and warm, but it was cold, and breezy and November.
"I suppose anything is better then stepping into that pink place," Inwardly, Daphne was praying he at least had something warm to drink in that bag. Wait a moment, was Daphne actually compromising? If worse came to worse she could cast a spell for warmth. At the thought of her wand, hand instinctively shifted in the pocket of her coat to feel for the slender wand hidden within her sleeve. "I really must apologize for intruding on your winter holidays, my mother was never too fond of keep boundaries." Daphne knew it wasn't completely her mother's doing, it was partially Nikolas' families fault as well. But Daphne was willing to take blame for her mother accepting the invitation on her behalf. No offense to Nikolas, but Daphne was looking forward to spending the winter break home and possibly with Audrina somewhere warm.
