Neville nodded at Luna's words. Her words made him think of his mother and father--that he never had time to learn from them, never had a chance to get to know them, even though they were still alive.
"I keep thinking of Mr. Diggory," he said, "and how, perhaps, he's with Cedric again. And I think of everyone else and wonder if they'll move on, or end up haunting the Ministry because they can't let go of it all."
Tears were welling in his eyes. "They were people. They had friends and families, and they were taken away from them just because someone wants power. It just doesn't make any sense."
