Julien rubbed his hands against Alfie like he was trying to work the shivers out with just those, so worried for his friend that he didn't notice that Alfie had come in so close to him until his friend was up against him almost face to face. He lifted a hand and petted through Alfie's hair, not saying a word because there wasn't really anything he could say.
