As if they needed an excuse to throw a party, Katie and Angie had decided (well, it had been Ang's idea, really, but that was beside the point) to throw a party in honor of Ali making it into Auror training. It was the end of summer, anyway, and while that meant less in the world of being an adult and not having to head back to Hogwarts, it still seemed like some kind of end of summer celebration was in order. Short of Bill and Fleur's wedding, of course.

Currently, Katie was out shopping for some of the things they might need. Plenty of alcohol, of course, but she thought they might like to feed their guests as well, so she was picking up food and things for decorating. Sure, they could magic a lot of it together, but Katie's mum had always used the Muggle style decorations for parties when she was young and Katie had something of a penchant for them still.

She was intently studying the shelves and marking things off her mental list, levitating a small collection of items in front of her as she shopped when she collided with something solid-ish. Items fell quickly to the floor as she turned a little red and began to apologize to whomever she'd just walked into.
