It had been a long morning of classwork which Alicia didn't mind too much; it was just like being back at Hogwarts and she hadn't been the worst student around. Granted she could have been a lot better too. This time around the it was all under her own steam, she was here because she wanted to be here and not because she had to go.
As much as she enjoyed the classes she enjoyed lunch too, especially if someone was coming to hang out with her for the hour. Unfortunately though today she was left to her own devices. The girls had training or... something and Adrian was at Hogwarts and well, she couldn't handle the twins just then, as much as she loved them. She debated about nipping home to her mum's to spend some time with Ry but he'd likely be napping and she didn't want to disturb him if that was the case. Instead she decided to head down to Auror Jakobson's room to have a natter about an up coming paper they had to turn in.
Alicia knocked and when she got no answer pushed the door open. Frowning she entered, eyes sweeping over the room. It looked untouched. So much so there was a little dust on the desk. Worry jolted her and she tugged her wand out, eyes flicking down the corridor for a moment. It wasn't like anyone was going to jump out at her though, right? She poked around his desk for a moment, prodding lightly with her wand and groaned slightly when she uncovered a half eaten sandwich. Ew.
Turning she found a very odd thing though. A present resting on his chair. It was wrapped in blue paper, flat and quite large and the more worrying thing was that it had her name on it. Well... fuck. Eyes darted back to the door as she thought back to the last time she had seen Jakobson. A few days ago perhaps? Last week at least. Tuesday or Wednesday? Should she undo the paper? It did say her name on it. She wished Adrian, Katie or Angie were here. She could imagine the girls telling her to "Just open it already!" Huffing she did so, ripping the paper with her hand just in case. She didn't want to do a Katie and end up spinning.
"Finally! What took you so bloody fucking long? It's fucking dark when you wrapped up, you know?" came the gruff reply as the paper fell away. Well, this was interesting. "Who are you?"
"Shouldn't I be asking you that?" Alicia pointed out, wearily. Was this going to be another Ned? Fingers pinched the bridge of her nose, sighing softly. "Who are you?" She asked finally.
"Cryil Jackobson." An answer which only made Alicia frown even deeper; that was definitely not Jakobson's name.
"Any relation to Nick?"
"He was my grandson."
