Ernie definitely agreed about the reaction. He didn't think Fred and George wanted to hurt people, for the most part, which is why he could only imagine that the severity of the reaction was an accident. "I know," he said, "it's odd. I can't recall them ever doing something to delibrately hurt someone. I think they just used an experimental product and didn't realize." It certainly matched what he had heard about the many flaws of the early Skiving Snackboxes.
