Susan had some of the most amazing friends in the world, she really did. Never in a million years did she expect to receive so many birthday wishes, and gifts. It was a little overwhelming for the usually timid, and shy girl to be in the spot light like she was, but it was nice none the less. After making sure she wrote out all her thank you cards, and hand delivered them the next day, did she really have time to sit down and actually think about what Ernie might have to talk to her about. A lot of things have been happening around the school, and while nothing truly effected Susan directly (which she was grateful about, considering so many things have been changing in her life recently) it was still a little unsettling to see friends and classmates uncomfortable and upset.
Pacing the length part of the corridor with Ernie, she was thinking something just simple and comfortable, and as the door appeared and the room revealed Susan had to gasp in awe, "This room is amazing." A bright smile curled on her lips, as she pulled a package of sugar quills from her robes and placed them on the little between them. Climbing onto the chair, Susan curled up and practically sank into the chair. Shifting just slightly, she gave Ernie a dazzling smile before pushing red curls out of her green gaze, "Well, you're welcome, that's what friends are for, yeah? I am positive if I started engulfing myself into schoolwork, you would do the same, just to keep my sanity." While Susan doubted that would ever happen, she would hope her friends would do the same for her as she does for them, and if not the same then at least try.
"Oh, my week? It was interesting, I got on Acceptable on my Potions essay, and Professor Sprout told me that the Chinese Chomping Cabbages have never been happier since I started working on them." Blushing slightly, her modest same came out, as she tilted her head, "My birthday was nice, I don't think I have ever had so many people wish me happy birthday at once." Her hand subconsciously moved over the necklace Ernie gave her, as she felt the Badger shield on her index finger. "I really like my necklace, Ernie, it's beautiful. One of the best gifts I got this year," Laughing, she then quickly added, "But don't tell Hannah I said that, she might get mad."
