Theodore Nott ([info]booksmart_devil) wrote in [info]wished,
Theo had been washing his hands at the sink for an overlong few minutes - that damn puzzlebox was slowly consuming his life, and even if Professor Snape hadn't found a curse on it, it was clearly an evil thing and whoever had sent it must be bent on destroying his life in a way that was cruel and unusual. So the way he would do it.

He still couldn't get it open and it was the taunt of not knowing what was inside it more than the challenge it presented that was slowly driving him up the wall; he tried to keep this curious side of him contained for the most part, but it was slowly getting louder and louder in the back of his mind.

He was about to return to his dorms and do just that when he noticed that the sink was filling up rapidly too. He only looked up and realised that the Golden Boy of Gryffindor was in the bathroom with him, and wondered briefly if what appeared to be a simple drain problem would end badly with an attack on their lives.

He couldn't help but smirk a little at Harry's question, even as he cast a quick spell to make sure he didn't get wet. "How specific do you want me to be?" he asked, amused at that choice of question in this setting and yes, he was being deliberately obtuse. It wasn't his problem that Harry jumped to conclusions.
