Vicky nodded, moving over to the table to see what she could find. Books weren't her strength - she preferred to act rather than research - but she'd already tried the most obvious spell and kicking the door hadn't done anything but make her toes hurt.
"Stupid, bloody castle," she muttered under her breath when Brandwen's attempt at another approach didn't work. If the staircases and doorways weren't constantly changing, they would be in this situation or she'd at least be locked in a room with a toilet and not right here. Never mind that she thought it was brilliant at any other time. That was entirely beside the point, because they were locked in and she hated that. It seemed to her like it got warmer and warmer in the room with every second.
She flipped through the Charms book, but of course there wasn't anything in there that proved useful and she made a face.
"Anything?" she looked up hopefully at the Ravenclaw. They were supposed to be the smart ones. Shouldn't she have figured it out by now?
