School was god damn hard. Alicia had forgotten quite how much work you had to put in when in school or training since Hogwarts and she was finding absolutely exhausting. It didn't help that after a long day she came home to Ryan who always seemed so full of energy to see her. She was enjoying it though, slowly getting into the swing of things and finding her way.

Today was her day off and after a lazy morning of lounging around with Ryan she thought she'd drop in on the twins, see what they were up to and make sure there was no hexing going on whatsoever. Ryan was with her mum which gave her a few hours of peace which was good because she didn't need Fred or George giving him any sugar on her day off.

The bell tingled as she pushed open the door and entered into the shop. Alicia pushed the hood of her sweart shirt down as her eyes skipped around for Fred or George. "Honey, I'm home!" Alicia called as she went further into the shop.

Fred was working the counter. He wasn't sure where Verity was, and worried a little too much that maybe she was avoiding him and that George (the sod!) had been right, but he was also avoiding thinking about the avoidance, and found that worked pretty well.

When Alicia came in, he looked her up and down and then shook his head. "Don't be all 'I'm home' to me, traitor." He said, succinct, but the grin gave it away as teasing, as did the next comment, "Someone painted a giant bogey on your shirt, there."

Alicia gave him her best 'what are you talking about I'm innocent!' look. It was quite good actually, she'd had to use it a lot at home over the years. "Traitor? What are these lies you speak of?" She asked, mock offended as she glared at him, resting her hip against the counter. Frowning she glanced down at her top.

"It's batman! You know who batman is, right?" Alicia looked a little shocked and then realised that well, Fred was all pure. Just like Adrian but she kept that comment to herself. "Batman is freaking awesome. He's a fucked up superhero. Beats spiderman hands down."

Alicia picked at the random odds and ends on the counter before finally speaking up, "You mad at me?"

"He's a bat?" Fred's eyebrow arched and he looked a little more seriously at her shirt (which looked a lot like leering at her breasts, but who could really tell with Fred?). "He doesn't look anything like a bat."

But then she asked a question that mattered, and he watched her fidget with the things on the counter a little longer before he pushed himself up to sit on it, legs hanging down onto her side. "Depends, I guess."

"No, he kind of dresses up as a bat. You are totally coming over for a batman film session, might through some good ol' comics in there too." Alicia shook her head at Fred's possible leering but let it go, she was quite used to the possibility of such it was Fred. "George Clooney was in the last one. He made a cute batman."

"On what?" She'd been putting off actually seeing people because she knew that they wouldn't be that happy about the situation and if she knew that she wouldn't be happy because, for some reason, their opinions mattered to her. A lot.

"On just what exactly you're willing to do to get yourself back into the Weasley good graces, of course," Fred said with a grin that might have been wicked except that ever since Ali had become a mum he couldn't really be perverted about her. At least to her face. "We'll have to come up with some sort of trade. You perform a service or something, I forgive you a little bit more."

That made Alicia pause, eyes narrowing at him. A trade? a service? This kind of sounded like some sort of bad porno plot to Alicia. Not that she'd ever watched porno and if she were going to it wouldn't be the bad kind. "What kind of service?"

"Why should I have to earn your forgiveness? You were threatening to hex him and Merlin knows what else!" She pointed out, huffing slightly and hitting his closest knee.

	"Haven't actually made up my mind not to do that, you know," Fred pointed out, but her narrowed eyes put him in mind of his mother, and he liked to avoid the fury of women who were standing that close to him if he could. "So, who were you angry at?" She asked him pointedly. She didn't really get who he would be beyond herself for not telling him sooner or something. Though she didn't think he should be mad at her for that because she'd kept it from people for a very good reason. Going around telling people who the father of your child was before the father knew wasn't exactly a good idea.
