She flushed and pushed her long hair back off her shoulders. "Well, I am fifteen. I like boys and parties and holidays too. They just seem to get very ridiculous over them at times, like nothing else matters."
She looked at him for a moment, not quite sure why she liked it when he looked at her so directly, smile quirking at one corner of her mouth. "No boys for me this summer, although a few were interested, I was pleasantly surprised to find. And I attended a rather nice party at your house, but otherwise, my parents were a little reluctant to let me go 'gallivanting about' as they put it."
