Sam Capper is Ginny Weasley's pretend wife. (six_string) wrote in wished,
"Yeah! Alderton," Sam snapped, the name promptly clicking into place (how it managed that she had no idea as she was awake for all of two or three history classes) and smiled her thanks. She felt the other girl's hand slip into hers, fingers interlocking, and tried to keep her smile from growing too large. Despite the fact she was now labouring under the firm belief that Audrey was totally in she did her best to keep playing it cool.
"Yeah that sounds like a plan..." The words trailed off as Sam was tugged behind a tapestry, surprised to find herself in suddenly close and dimly lit quarters with the girl she'd spent the last half hour flirting with. "Shortcut, huh?" Listening hard enough, Sam could hear Aud's head questing over the stone beside them but what really had her attention was the way they were all of a sudden pressed together.
Sam had some sort of history with other girls, she wasn't a stranger to flirting and she'd crossed the first kiss of her list already but she wasn't too experienced when you got down to it. The last half hour with Audrey, little touches and the smiles and reciprocal flirting, had probably been one of the most exciting she'd had for awhile. She certainly couldn't count her one sided runs with Ginny as those tended more toward frustrating in the long run.
Sam found herself wondering what Audrey would do if she closed the gap when the light spilled in beside them and the stairs were finally revealed. "Look at that," she muttered, giving into the reckless urge as soon as it hit her mind. She leaned in and pecked Audrey quickly on the lips before darting up the stairs first, chastising herself for taking so long to get to know her classmate. "C'mon, quit dawdling," she called back down, laughing warmly, almost giddy.
