If Audrey were totally honest with Evie, she would've said that this party was a rather bad idea. One party, dressed in other colours wouldn't do anything to heal the rift between the Houses. She was a Hufflepuff and it wasn't as though she never wore green in her life. Wearing red didn't make her feel anymore brave and her blue skirt didn't make her feel any smarter.
But Evie hadn't asked. Evie never asked. So here she was, bedecked in blue, supporting her friend just like always. She heaved a little sigh as she watched Alfie cross the room to Evie, wondering what was going to happen with them. Casting her gaze away, she studied the snacks, piling some crisps on her plate and reaching for the onion dip, her hand brushing against someone else's.
"Oh," Audrey glanced up and smiled at the other girl. "No, it's alright." She spooned some onion dip onto her plate, then handed the ladle over, looking the girl up and down. "What house're you supposed to be?" She asked, curiously.
