Dean shook his head. "I uh, don't really date blokes." Or hadn't ever, anyway. "Not that I don't want to hang out or have a drink and all. I just didn't want to be more of a prat and lead you on?"

He felt like a git saying that, since it was presumptuous, pretty much. Dean wasn't insecure really, but he didn't think of himself as the sort girls really thought about first when they wanted to ask someone out. . . or boys, though he'd thought about that even less.
