WHO Eddie Carmichael & Parvati Patil
WHAT Haunted Tour in Muggle London/Date!
WHERE Parvati's → Muggle London Haunted Tour
WHEN Thursday night, 6pm.
RATING PG?

Eddie arrived at Parvati's dressed not too formally, but still looking plenty sharp precisely when he said he would, and knocked on the door to announce that he had arrived. As was customary when he took a lady out, he brought with him a small bouquet of simple flowers, meant more for pleasing the eye than any deeper-rooted meaning. His mother had once tried to explain to him the old Victorian meanings of various flowers, but he had insisted that he had need to know only of roses and a few others. So far, he'd been right.

The tour was to begin in about an hour, and this gave them plenty of time to get over to the starting point. It was a ghost tour of Muggle London that he had been interested in for some time now, and from what he'd heard, the man who lead the tour was fantastic at captivating an audience. Maybe it was a little after Halloween, sure - but who didn't enjoy a good scare at any time of year? Eddie waited patiently for Parvati, even though it was a bit cold out. He was actually really excited to go on the tour; as he had grown up in a mostly-Muggle household, it felt good to step back into those shoes for some reason other than his job. And what luck! To accompany him this night was a lovely lady! He considered himself lucky, indeed.

To be honest, Parvati hadn't paid attention all that closely to what he had planned. She'd just seen him writing, and been so bored - and it had been long enough since someone had asked her for a night out that she'd thought she might as well go along with it. She even remembered him - his name, anyway - and he'd been cute in school, too, so she didn't see anything wrong with it.

She'd been wearing a dress, then thought she'd probably have to walk and so ended up changing a few times and then changing back. Finally, she settled on pants, and was just putting on the last touches - gloss and a brush through the hair one last time - when he knocked.

She let him wait a few minutes, just for good measure, then opened the door with a smile - that went a little lax, and then a little brighter after she'd taken him in. She'd forgotten he was that good looking.

He grinned a bit at noticing how her smile brightened -- he sort of had that effect on people. "Bonsoir, Miss Patil," Eddie greeted, bowing his head then straightening back up so he could hold out the flowers to her.

The location of the tour wasn't too far away, and he figured they could Apparate over. Even though he himself wouldn't have minded a long walk, it would have been ungentlemanly to insist on walking to the tour, when the event itself consisted of a lot of walking.

"My lady looks very lovely tonight, although I am sure such is the case every night."

Oh, he was good. Attractive, and he brought flowers, and he complimented her right off. She could already tell this was going to be a good date. Unless he was boring, which he didn't seem to be. Still, attractive went a long way, even with boring.

She giggled as she took the flowers, "Thank you. These are beautiful!" And she nodded him inside so that she could go and put them in water.

Ah, but boring was something Eddie definitely was not! He considered himself clever and quick-witted, able to discuss just about any topic a date could possibly want to talk about. And he was just warming up. "I am glad," he said, as he followed her inside and closed the door so the colder air from outside wouldn't come inside.

He looked around casually, observing the decor and taking everything in.
