Well, at least she seemed to have caught him in a good mood, if his tone of voice was anything to judge by. She took a step in when he offered, extremely thankful to escape the cold breeze coming from the water. "Hope I'm not interrupting anything." She said, sounding a tad embarrassed. Because try as she might sometimes she couldn't keep her mother's judgmental voice out of her head, and at the moment it was screaming about how rude it was to just show up at someone's home uninvited. Then again she could at least tell the voice to bugger off.
She did smile and set the containers down on the counter in the kitchen. "I made entirely too much, and I figured you might like some." She explained quickly. To her ears it just sounded like an excuse to see him. "Since your kitchen seems to have an allergic reaction to anything green that comes from the ground... I figured I could at least get a proper meal in you."
