Merlin turned up to Zacharias' house completely freaking out and trying to pretend that he wasn't. He was dressed in his version of casual but neat; black straight cut trousers, a tshirt and a blazer jacket.
He felt overdressed and underdressed at the same time, more overwhlemingly so, terrified.
His heart had never felt quite so exposed. He'd agreed to this, yes, but that couldn't erase years of his fear and his anxiety about everything going tits up the way they had before.
Still, despite everything that had gone on he still wanted to do this. So there he was, standing outside Zach's door, too afraid to knock the door the way he had been for the past fifteen minutes.
