She wasn't snooping. Really, she wasn't. Trish was just looking for something she'd misplaced and so she had to look everywhere. Right? She had originally only expected to search a couple places for it, but the longer she'd looked for her missing bra the more drawers and places she went through. She was getting frustrated about not being able to find it. Of course when she looked through some things it was like seeing a little piece of Alix here and there. She found one of the shirts that she absolutely adored him in, a tie that she'd gotten him as a joke that lit up and was absolutely horrid. She was quite certain she'd gotten him into once and had a picture of him pretty much glaring at the camera as she'd shot a picture. She'd told him that at least she'd used a muggle camera and therefore he didn't have to worry about it moving and flashing.
Eventually her search even led her to dropping down on all fours and checking under the bed. Surprisingly it was quite clean under there. She expected a number of dust bunnies and perhaps a missing sock or shoe and there was none of that. It made her smile and shake her head a bit before pushing herself up off all fours to her knees as she surveyed the room, a thoughtful frown on her face. "Ah yes, the closet. Last place in here it could possibly be."
It only took her a moment to get up completely and make her way to the closet. Once the door was open she gazed at the clothes inside and set to searching for it. She really wasn't sure were it could be in here. Everything was so tidy and she was certain her bra would look completely out of place. Of course it was then that she noticed a bra strap sticking out from the shelf in-between some shirts of his. With a grin she reached up and tugged, letting out a little startled sound when the whole pile came tumbling down.
"Crap! Didn't mean to do that," she muttered, dropping down into a crouch and setting her prized bra to the side as she started picking each shirt up one at a time and folding them. She'd only gotten through three shirts before she found a conspicuous little box. She tilted her head and narrowed her eyes as she gazed at it. Perhaps he's stored cufflinks with the shirts? Eventually curiosity got the best of her and she cracked open the box.
The problem was that she nearly dropped the box in shock when she did. It most definitely wasn't cufflinks she found. Instead she found an absolutely gorgeous ring. "Oh my God." She was positive she wasn't supposed to see this, but she couldn't seem to tear her eyes away or close the box. Who did he have this for? Had there been someone while she was gone that he hadn't told her about?
She was so shocked and entranced by staring at the ring that she didn't hear the door to the bedroom opening behind her.
