Gretchen had only half been paying attention to the conversation, the truth was: she really didn't give the slightest shit about Trevor's cousin's domestic drama. Sure, she was well grateful for the breakfast, but aside from that, she had no interest in delving into solving things. She met Trevor's glance, and twisted her lips to the side. She did owe him her life, though.
Resisting the urge to roll her eyes, she twisted slightly, stretching her legs and pressing them against Trev's. "You trust him to watch your kid, yeah?" she spoke up, taking a sip of her coffee. "So take a break for a few days. You're about to pop out another one, you probably deserve a rest. It doesn't have to be anything big and dramatic."
