"Oh yeah? When was the last time you did something fun?" she said sympathetically. She wasn't nearly as good at this parenting thing as Remus was, but she figured that taking Remus's side without hearing Gabe out completely, or at least helping him see that maybe he was being a wee bit irrational, wouldn't do any good.
She dropped a kiss on top of his head. "Bugger isn't a nice word to say. It can hurt people if you're not careful about it, and I know you don't want to hurt anyone. It's something that people only say when they can't think of something smarter to say. And you're the smartest person I know, Gabriel. I bet you can think of loads of other things to say other than something that'll make me and Daddy unhappy." She kissed his cheek. "I don't like it when Daddy says it either. You know what we should start? A swear jar. Every time me or Daddy or you says a bad word, we have to put a sickle in it. What do you think?"
