She couldn't help the small snort that escaped her as she rolled her eyes. "Well, I feel only a tiny bit better knowing that a a healthy strong person can at least be pointed in the general direction of a bad guy by the smart people." She responded as the busy waitress poured him some coffee. Tracey pointed towards her own and waitress topped it off before filling up mugs at the next table.
She clicked her and tsked her tongue in a disappointed manner. "Damn, and I would have loved to see it. Maybe next time, yeah?" She said, grabbing a couple of sugar packets. She busied herself with the stirring of her coffee before she seriously answered him. "Not too bad. People are spooked and hexing things every time a branch rubs against their window... so there was a string of accidental hexes backfiring."
