The kiss, brief as it may have been, had her heart singing. It thrummed madly and she almost forgot to respond in kind, so at the last second she leaned up on her toes to press into the kiss before it was broken.
"Yes.." he replied, dazed. Then, she closed that door and leaned against it a moment as she watched him, drank in every detail of him.
"You look different," she mused softly. "I mean, not that you looked bad before... I mean, you've always been handsome, in.. in my opinion, but you look.. well, different," and it was a good thing, obviously, by the way she smiled.
Finally she pushed off the door and slid past him to the kitchen where her wand was waiting for her on a countertop.
"Oh a drink would be lovely, let me find my glasses.."
