Delaney shrugged, holding her fork poised for the plate to be returned to her, digging in as soon as it arrived. "This really is delicious," she said, aware that she was acting like a pig, but unable and unwilling to stop herself.

"There's an article coming out soon?" she asked, unsure whether to be excited about it or horrified. "Did you give an interview? Am I mentioned by name? Is anyone likely to want to interview me?"

On the one hand, it might be a good oportunity to plug the store. On the other hand, gaining publicity for getting pregnant out of wedlock wasn't exactly the kind of publicity she wanted.
