He set her down, and then squatted to help the toddler into her outfit. She was terribly cute and terribly small, but so utterly capable; it was baffling and a delight to watch and lend her a hand. She giggled some and then began singing some silly song, playing with one of her dolls, putting it up to Neville's face as if she was going to hit him with it, but then pressed the doll's face to his cheek.
He grinned, "She's kissing me now is she? Not popping me in the head again," he said as he helped her with the leggings next. Olivia got down and immediately began to move about her room, finding another doll and talking to it in her baby talk. It was clear she had a purpose in mind, and Neville left her, hoping to catch a glimpse of Hannah changing. He needed to hop in the shower and dress himself.
He knocked lightly before he opened the door into Hannah's room, "I think I better shower quickly, if we have time," he said.
