He couldn't help but grin, "Well, I suppose we could save the holiday for later. There's plenty of time for that I suppose," and he said as he drank more of his coffee, "As long as I get to spend time with you, I will be happy."
He gave her a small nod, "I like the notion of you being your own boss. It..suits you," he said as he held his cup, lifting it up in a type of salute to her. His plate was empty at this point, and he turned his attention to Olivia for a moment, wondering if she was in a better mood at this point. He watched the little girl for a long few moments, and then said, "You think she's feeling better? I hate to take her out if she is a foul mood," he said, addressing the blond across from himself.
"I am not much of one to be able to judge. I deffer to your wisdom in all things about little girls."
