Oriel was always up with some friend time. He spent the morning in the Quibbler offices, doing some fact checking and research, and then the early part of the afternoon working on his latest article. When the clock started ticking close to the time he was supposed to meet Rose, though, he tucked everything away and tidied up his desk and got ready to go.
He slipped his arms into his thin fall coat and wrapped a skinny blue and purple striped scarf around his neck, letting it dangle. The glasses that he wore for reading he took off and folded away, tucking them into a pocket and then he was set to go.
It wasn't too much later that he was making his way towards Sugarush. Always a popular spot, with people coming and going with sweets. As he reached it, he could smell a wiff of sugar that wafted through the door when someone opened it, and he smiled. Stepping off to the side so he wasn't in the way, he waited for Rose to arrive.
