The circling kept her on high alert. It made her nervous each time he rounded her, and that became visible as her typically predatory eyes took on the look of a creature being corner. A low hiss came from her as he questioned her loyalties, and her gaze slowly lifted to glance over her shoulder towards him.
In fast fluid movements, Alecto turned around to face Astrophel, fingers reaching out hoping to latch on to his neck and dig her nails into his flesh.
The spiders reacted all around her, bursting into clicking, clattering, skittering noises which were quite deafening, even for Alecto as the sounds overwhelmed her mind. "Are you questioning my loyalty, Mister Fleetwood?" Her voice was a low growl, as there was a flicker of resentment in her gaze. Alecto hated those that tried to question her loyalty, why would anyone think she was disloyal? Of course, with the Dark Lord gone it was hard to prove her loyalty, but her beliefs were still in tact with or without the Dark Lord.
