Katie wasn't honestly fussed about who ended up paying for this outing. She'd teased him about it being his turn, of course, but she'd really just wanted a night out with her friend. It felt like it had been entirely too long.
She grinned now as she caught sight of him, sitting at a table she'd sat at more times than she could count when they were much younger. Her sense of nostalgia deepened as she spotted the much younger patrons who could only be students who'd sneaked out.
"They look small. Were we ever that small?" she commented as she slid into the seat next to George.
