WHO Eddie Carmichael, Cat, Oriel Summerby, Tweak
WHAT Eddie is bringing Cat over to Oriel's so that Tweak can meet her.
WHEN Afternoon
WHERE Oriel's.
RATING/WARNING Low. Incomplete.

After talking with Oriel about Tweak the kitten, Eddie had talked to Cat about the possibility of her meeting the kitten. Cat was territorial--when it came to Eddie. But she had met the neighbor's cat once and they had gotten along all right, and besides, if Cat decided to be bad, Eddie could simply just pick her up; she would not hurt him.

Cat, for her part, was snoozing away in her carrier. She didn't like the thing much, but Eddie had been using it to carry her everywhere, not just to the vet's, so she wasn't freaking out or scared. In fact, she was... well, snoozing. Eddie set the carrier down gently, although Cat awoke anyway, and knocked on the door.

Cat continued to sit calmly, allowing Tweak to investigate as he pleased. She flicked her tail all the while, observing the kitten. Because Eddie was comfortable in this situation, it seemed to filter through to Cat, and as a result, she was comfortable as well.

"I see. That's quite impressive, I must say. So..." he had to admit; other than being a fellow pet owner, he really didn't know anything at all about Oriel. The kid was so young; Eddie didn't even remember him from school in the slightest. Maybe they hadn't even been there at the same time. Also, because Oriel was male and not female, Eddie couldn't jump into his usual charming ways, because, well--he didn't swing that way.

There was much investigation on Tweak's part as he sniffed all around Cat, until finally, the twitching, flicking tail became far too much for the kitten to resist, and he pounced on it, attempting to capture it.

Oriel just smiled and shrugged his shoulders a little bit. He didn't think it was impressive, but to him it was just life as he knew it. He tilted his head to the side. "Do you want to sit down?" he offered, because there was no need for them to stand there while the cats played. Oriel went to the living area of his flat and sat down in one of the chairs.

When her tail was unexpectedly pounced upon, Cat jumped up and let out a loud angry cat sound, but Eddie cautioned her with a look and she glared back at Eddie, though she desisted. Eddie and Cat had a mutual understanding of behavior and she usually listened to him. Instead, Cat got up and sniffed Tweak, trying to make more sense of the little kitten that had pounced on her so.

"Ah, thank you," Eddie said, and he took a seat in a comfortable chair and watched the cats. "Ah... which year did you finish school? I don't recall seeing you."
